video tutorial- how to make artisan bread {food on friday}

the finished product!
Fresh, four-ingredient homemade bread in five minutes a day? Sounds too good to be true, right? I thought so too. When I saw the article on the web about a new recipe claiming to revolutionize baking, I knew I had to try it out for myself.

I followed the super simple directions, made the dough- just flour, salt, yeast, and water {no kneading required!}, and three hours later had the best homemade bread I’d ever tasted!

I’m so in love with this recipe that I couldn’t wait to share it with you all! I try to avoid eating bread on a regular basis, but when I make this, it’s extremely hard to resist! I think you’ll love it as much as I do. Just make sure you have lots of hungry bread lovers around to share it with you!

Here's BH's very first vlog! I hope you enjoy the video format! I had fun making it. :)

you can click above to reduce the size to 240p to stream a little faster)

And as promised, here’s the basic dough recipe! Let me know how it works for you!

This book has been sitting there unopened because I was intimated by the recipes, but you've made it look so easy. I plan to make a loaf tomorrow. Thanks!

Just recently stumbled onto your blog & love it! Been checking out some of your older posts - I printed out the chore cards for my 3 little ones, who are starting school tomorrow & now I think I'll try making this bread while they're gone. Looking forward to more vlogs... : )

I love your blog! I am in the process of remodeling my kitchen.... and will be doing white cabinets like yours and stainless steel appliances. Do you mind if I ask you what brand your stove and microwave is? I really like how it looks in your kitchen. Thank you in advance!

This looks so good! Your video makes it seem so simple...I actually may be able to achieve the end result, finger crossed! We are a family of 5 and my children go through a loaf in 2 days...add the husband to the mix and it is gone in a day. I love that it is a clean eating bread too. Do you know if it would work with almond flour?

I don't know actually, but I know it does work with wheat flour- there are several different versions in the book too... let me know if you try it! :D

The authors of the book did come out with a gluten free book, if that is why you are using almond flour. I've made this bread recipe for years, with some variations (adding herbs and seasonings in during baking day). We are a family of 5 and I would double the recipe and keep it in the fridge, making on average 2 loaves a day. 1 to eat warm when ready, 1 for sandwiches later. The longer the dough sits, it become more like sour dough. If you don't clean out the container before making a new batch, you'll hit sour dough sooner.
