monthly goals update- February 2012

Here were my January goals:

do:
organize sewing room- done! finished this first-
I love my new setup! I’m working on pics for you guys this week- I have one project to do in February for it! :D
list 8 items on eBay-
done! took me forever, but done! phew!
prepare 16 freezer meals- done! I’m using the first dinner tonight- chicken spaghetti!

read:
The Money Saving Mom’s Budget by Crystal Paine- did this and loved it! here’s the review.

learn:
memorize 1 Peter 1:1-12 and new fitness choreography- done! Our BODYCOMBAT launch is this afternoon!

be:
gentle:
taking the gentleness challenge to react sweetly to my family – I learned so much from this. I didn’t suddenly become super awesome at gentleness after a month, but I’ve really felt a change in how I speak to the children and how they react to me. Noah even told God thank you for his really nice mommy in his prayer. Conviction and sweetness all at once for me- they notice, they really do.

 

And my February goals:

do:
prepare 20 meals for freezer-
this is going to be a challenge- good thing I have 29 days this month ;)
crochet a scarf –
have the supplies ready to go!
quick spray paint makeover on my letter holder
hang pictures in my office

read:
How to Have a HEART for Your Kids by Rachael Carman – started this one
and
7- An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess -I’m already half way done with this and it’s awesome! I can’t wait to tell you guys about it! wow.

learn:
Memorize 1 Peter 1:13-25

be:
quiet: make a conscious effort this month to keep my mouth from complaining- this will be interesting!

 

this week’s menu plans:

monday- chicken spaghetti + salad

tuesday- meatball subs + chips

wednesday- chili + crackers

thursday- crockpot beans + mac/cheese

friday- pizza {family night}

saturday- free for all or dinner out

sunday- roasted chicken + mashed potatoes + green beans
