who is your Jesus??

Oh my goodness, I've never cried so much before 7 in the morning.

This video is such an amazing way of presenting the Gospel.

It's about our Jesus and is worth every minute of watching....

I am completely broken...this video just stopped me in my tracks. Speechless. The gospel is preached in this video in a way I have never heard it. Thank you so much for posting and for your blog, it's always so encouraging!

God Bless You,
Angel

Mandy,

Thank you for sharing this video. God is SO amazing!! A great reminder that He is more important than earthly things. Those of us who know Him are truly blessed, and I pray others will open their hearts to Him.

God has been teaching me lately that I need to make the gospel the center of my writing, and this video cinches it. Thank you so much for sharing this!!

Wow! AMAZING video! I can't wait to share this on my blog, FB page, etc.....God has allowed the gospel to grasp me in a way I've never known before in the last year or so. It's revolutionized my walk with Him. I need to watch this every morning to start my day on the right track! :)

My Jesus is love who does not pour out His wrath on the unsaved or those who doubt Him - His love encompasses and ransoms ALL. My Jesus is love and does not view myself or the world as poor undeserving sinners, He does not view us as wicked... My Jesus sits next to God our Father and views us with compassion, with mercy and with grace. We are His beloved, not wicked people who deserve to have our head's crushed. I appreciate the intense graphics of the video and appreciate the first 4 and 1/2 minutes but that's about it. Very disappointing.

Oh sweet Elizabeth, I would urge you to really investigate your beliefs through the Bible. I think you will find a much different God than who you've described. He is merciful, indeed, and love Himself and with grace and compassion, but he definitely will punish unbelievers and the wicked who are not redeemed by the blood of Jesus through faith in His son.

Here are just a few verses in the New Testament alone that show us the wrath of God and who it is directed toward:

Revelation 20:15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

Romans 2:6
He will render to each one according to his works: 7to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; 8but for those who are self-seekinga and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury.9There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, 10but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek. 11For God shows no partiality.

John 15:6 If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.

Matthew 25:
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, youwho are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,[f] you did it to me.’
41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ 44 Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ 45 Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’ 46 And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

John 6:47 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.

Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Hebrews 10:26-31 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has spurned the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? For we know him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.”

I do not enjoy being called "sweet Elizzabeth", very demeaning as an opening statement. I am pretty sure I have read the New Testament and still stick by my belief system in a loving God, nothing less but certainly more. I will take the good from this blog and leave the bad... I thank you for the posts I do enjoy, I will just chalk this up to this not being one of them.

I am so sorry if it came across that way. I was truly thinking of you as a friend when I wrote it.

No harm no foul, I am obviously still lurking around, finding a lot of posts that I am enjoying. We have a major difference of opinion but I still bless you and your view points (everyone is entitled to have them.) I know I am a daughter and I am loved regardless of my opinions & statements - I pray you feel the same. Have a nice evening. :)

This was beautiful. I am a huge fan of John Piper and am a Reformist as well as he. The sovereignty and supremacy of Christ is heart wrenching and I am brought to tears whenever I think of going home to Him. I sent this video to those I love deeply. Thank you for sharing.

Such a wonderful video ! My husband and I just watching it and we were so blessed. Thanks for sharing. What a wonderful Jesus we have. He is God full of love and mercy yet He is a just God as well for those who reject HIM.
